Best educational board game

Board games are a great way to spend more time with family and friends. The most important feature of  board games is simply that they are entertaining, but they can also be educational.

 Would you like to learn something while  having fun?  

Some educational board games are either clearly aimed at young children or aimed at learning new concepts rather than relaxing with interesting and thought-provoking games.

There's nothing wrong with these games, but the ones on this list are suitable for everyone, whether they're young children or  older adults. No matter your age, you may finish all  these games after learning new facts and new ways of looking at things.

 Test your math skills: Math Fluxx 

If you're not familiar with the Fluxx card game, it's popular because of the ever-changing rules. So, as the game progresses, the initial goal you and other players start  with may change, and the paths to reach that goal may change. Fluxx has many versions, but Math Fluxx is a good educational version.

 

Math Fluxx (and generally all his Fluxx games) has his four basic card types: Keepers, Gates, Rules, and Actions. Place the goalkeeper cards in front of you and use them to fulfill the objective card conditions. Rule cards take effect immediately and change gameplay. Action cards he is used once and then discarded.

In Math Fluxx your task is to find the right combination of numbers to reach your goal. For example, if your target card is 42, you need to find 4 and 2 goalie cards  to win the game. But of course, it's not that easy to earn Fluxx. Action  and rule cards can shake up gameplay and make it easier for you to win or harder for others. Or they achieve nothing. Fluxx is always… well, in flux.  

There are also special Plan B and Plan C meta-rules that  can be added to the game's core rules for additional mathematical gameplay. The Plan B metarule allows players to use addition, multiplication, or a combination of operations to reach their goals and win.

The Plan C meta-rule allows players to win only using non-traditional rules, and penalizes them for attempting to win using the game's normal core rules. 

Anyone over the age of 8 can play Math Fluxx and each game takes him betweent 5 and 30 minutes. Similar to other educational Fluxx such as Astronomy Fluxx and Chemistry Fluxx, 2 to he 6 players can play this game.
